Media & Photography Policy

Conejo Gardens may photograph or record video during public events, community gatherings, educational programs, and special celebrations. Media may include individuals, groups, performances, gardens, decorations, and event activities.

Photographs and videos may be used on the Conejo Gardens website, social media channels, newsletters, promotional materials, printed publications, news releases, and future event marketing. Media may also be shared with community partners, sponsors, or local media outlets to promote Conejo Gardens and its programs.

Attendance at public events constitutes your acknowledgment that photography and videography may occur. While we make every effort to be respectful, attendance at a public event may result in your likeness appearing in photographs or video recordings used for promotional or historical purposes.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising minors attending Conejo Gardens events. We exercise additional care when photographing children and generally avoid identifying minors by name unless separate written permission has been obtained from a parent or legal guardian.

Guests who prefer not to appear in photographs or video recordings are encouraged to notify a Conejo Gardens event host upon arrival. While we cannot guarantee that incidental appearances in public settings can always be avoided, our photographers and volunteers will make reasonable efforts to honor these requests whenever practical.

Guests are welcome to take personal photographs during most public events unless otherwise posted. Commercial photography, professional photo sessions, drones, or media recording intended for commercial use require prior written approval from Conejo Gardens.

Unless otherwise stated, photographs and videos created by or for Conejo Gardens remain the property of Conejo Gardens and are protected by applicable copyright laws. Unauthorized commercial use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited without written permission.
