We first connected on April 30, 2020, during a time when the world seemed to stand still. What began as a conversation during the COVID-19 pandemic led to our first meeting on June 5, and by August 16, we had officially begun our journey together.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding us, we discovered how much we had in common—a love of nature, an appreciation for family and friendship, and a shared belief that life’s most meaningful moments are often the simplest ones. What started as a new relationship quickly became something much deeper.
As our relationship grew, so did our dreams for the future. By early 2021, we were sharing a home and imagining what it could become. For Jason, the property represented generations of family memories and a legacy worth preserving. For Taylor, it offered an opportunity to help create something beautiful while honoring the history that made the home so special.
Together, we began transforming that vision into reality. What started with improvements to the family home gradually blossomed into something much greater—a garden retreat designed not only for ourselves, but for the friends, family, and community we hoped to welcome through its gates.
Today, Conejo Gardens reflects the life we’ve built together. Every gathering, celebration, and new friendship adds another chapter to our story. Through it all, our greatest joy remains the same: bringing people together, sharing meaningful experiences, and creating memories that will last for years to come.
What began as a conversation through Tinder during the pandemic became the beginning of our life together.
On May 6, Jason proposed to Taylor during the Darius music event at Palms Beach Club in San Diego.
On June 16, we celebrated our wedding at Conejo Gardens, surrounded by love, family, and friends.
Together, we continue creating a welcoming place for friendship, celebration, and community.
