Imagining the Gardens

Before there were plans, there was possibility. Before there was a garden, there was imagination.

Imagining the Gardens

Before there were plans, there was possibility. Before there was a garden, there was imagination.

A Blank Canvas

During the addition to our home, we often found ourselves looking across the backyard and imagining what it could become. What began as an open space filled with possibilities soon became a vision for something truly special.

We dreamed of an outdoor retreat where family and friends could gather around a fire, share meals beneath the stars, enjoy the sounds of flowing water, and create lasting memories. More than a beautifully landscaped yard, we wanted a garden that would bring people together for generations to come.

Designing Around Experiences

It wasn’t just about how it would look, it was about how it would feel.

The First Big Change

Originally, this back corner was envisioned as a grove of trees with a bistro table and chair set.

As the vision evolved, we knew it deserved something even more meaningful.

The grove became a Memorial Garden – a living tribute to Tom & Jean McAllister, forever at the heart of Conjo Gardens.
